Job description
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Smart Hands & Feet Technicians to join our Data Center Operations team. This team supports the rapid growth of hyperscale data centers by deploying, maintaining, and operating critical infrastructure that powers advanced AI workloads.
As a Smart Hands & Feet Technician, you will play a key role in supporting hardware deployments, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and maintaining high operational standards within a fast-paced data center environment., * Install, rack, and deploy server and networking hardware in data center environments.
- Perform cable management tasks, including reseating, labeling, replacing, and organizing power, network, fiber, and copper cabling.
- Execute server tray swaps and hardware replacements following established operational procedures.
- Respond to incidents and assist with onsite troubleshooting while meeting service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Document maintenance activities, hardware changes, and inventory updates accurately.
- Conduct visual inspections and basic diagnostics to identify hardware or connectivity issues.
- Support 24/7 operations through rotating shifts and/or on-call responsibilities as required.
- Collaborate effectively with customers, vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Server hardware support?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support, technical operations, computer repair, or related field.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with server components and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Basic networking knowledge, including copper and fiber cabling standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures accurately.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work comfortably in a data center environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills., * Previous experience working in data centers or technical operations environments.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, asset tracking tools, and infrastructure management processes.
- IT certifications or relevant coursework in networking, infrastructure, or computer systems.
- Experience supporting hardware deployment, break/fix activities, or server maintenance.
- Exposure to Linux operating systems and command-line environments.
- Experience working in high-availability, fast-paced technical environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
