Job description

JOB DUTIES: Develop and manage numerous technical development projects for the company. Engage in major project planning, further advancement and development of the company’s critical custom proprietary software. Assist with deployment of resources within the U.S. and India. Conduct and support training on the complete range of company products and their unique designs, material choices and custom capabilities. Assist with flow control products and help with new product development for the company. Review the water control product specifications and developing design. Coordinate with customers to develop a design for water flow control equipment. Conduct technical reviews of client specific requirements. Evaluate suitability or deviation of the company’s design and product with client specific requirements. Identify the critical points on design and manufacturing capability. Provide technical inputs for the cost estimation of the products. Analyze technical information by reviewing project details and civil drawings. Provide technical guidance for proper application, installation and functioning of company products. Standardize, implement, and update design calculation, estimation and costing formats. Analyze and investigate issues and failures of company equipment based on client’s feedback. Evaluate findings from the past projects, diagnose faulty operations and utilize the findings to improve efficiency of the company’s product range.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Mechanical valves?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related technical field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience in a related occupation with the following: The American Water Works Association (AWWA) Standards; American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Standards; Creating drawings on AutoCAd and SolidWorks; Reviewing water control product specifications and compliance; Designing water control products including Slide gate, flap gate and knife gate valves; and Performing FMEA analysis on ANSYS., REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related technical field plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in a related occupation with the following: The American Water Works Association (AWWA) Standards; American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Standards; Creating drawings on AutoCAd and SolidWorks; Reviewing water control product specifications and compliance; Designing water control products including Slide gate, flap gate and knife gate valves; and Performing FMEA analysis on ANSYS.
