Technical Solution Specialist - Screens Division

Our U.S. headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia serves as a direct extension of our Austrian operations, supporting dealers, integrators, consultants, and end-users across the United States with technical expertise, inventory, and customized solutions. As we continue expanding our U.S. presence, we are seeking a highly motivated Technical Solution Specialist to become the primary technical resource for our Screens Division. The Role The Technical Solution Specialist serves as the bridge between AV Stumpfl’s advanced projection screen technologies and the customers who rely on them. In this role, you’ll provide technical guidance, product expertise, system recommendations, and project support for integrators, dealers, consultants, and end-users. You’ll work closely with our sales, operations, warehouse, and international engineering teams to ensure customers receive exceptional technical support throughout the entire project lifecycle. This position is ideal for someone with strong AV industry experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions., Technical Consulting & Customer Support

• Serve as the primary technical resource for dealers, integrators, and customers regarding AV Stumpfl screen systems, surfaces, frame systems, and accessories.
• Assess customer requirements and recommend appropriate projection screen solutions.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions.
• Support RFP responses, system designs, and technical proposals in collaboration with sales and engineering teams.
• Provide troubleshooting assistance and technical guidance throughout project execution.

Product Expertise & Training

• Maintain expert-level knowledge of the AV Stumpfl Screens portfolio.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, FAQs, and training materials.
• Assist with onboarding and educating new dealers and integration partners.

Project Coordination & Customer Success

• Support customers from initial inquiry through order fulfillment.
• Verify product configurations, pricing accuracy, and inventory availability.
• Maintain detailed customer and project records within HubSpot CRM.
• Coordinate custom screen projects with international teams to ensure specification accuracy and delivery timelines.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to support inventory accuracy and product allocation.
• Collaborate with sales teams on opportunities within fixed installation, staging, and rental markets.
• Assist with screen selection, placement recommendations, and control system compatibility.
• Provide market feedback and customer insights to product and engineering teams.

Do you have experience in Productivity software?, * 3+ years of experience in technical support, systems integration, AV solutions, or product specialist

• Strong understanding of projection systems, screen technologies, or commercial AV installations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience using CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and business software systems.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Collaborative, customer-focused, and solution-oriented mindset.

Preferred

• Experience with projection screen manufacturers such as AV Stumpfl, Draper, Da-Lite, Stewart Filmscreen, or similar brands.
• Familiarity with control systems including RS-232, 12V Trigger, or low-voltage integration.
• Experience within live events, staging, rental, or fixed installation environments.
• CTS certification or similar AV industry credentials.
• Experience working with European manufacturers or distribution organizations.
• Electrical installation experience, electrician licensing, or familiarity with commercial AV wiring practices.
• Knowledge of NEC standards related to AV infrastructure and motorized systems.
• German language proficiency is a plus.
