  • Implement and maintain cloud security best practices across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform environments, including IAM policies, encryption, logging, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote cybersecurity awareness, conduct training, and implement secure workflows and practices.

  • Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to strengthen organizational security posture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Equivalent experience considered.
  • Proven experience in a cybersecurity role, preferably in enterprise or cloud environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of security protocols, encryption methods, threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools including SIEM, EDR, antivirus, firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention, and cloud-native security tools.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform security services (e.g., AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, Azure Defender, Cloud Security Posture Management).
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, or NIST CSF.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and across departments.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus: CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or cloud security certifications (AWS/Azure Security Specialty).
  • Location: Candidates must be local to Massachusetts; this position requires some onsite collaboration.
