Job description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Java Full Stack Developer to join our team supporting strategic initiatives at PNC. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in modern Java technologies, microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and front-end development using Angular. This role requires both technical leadership and hands-on development experience to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications., * Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade applications.

Develop scalable and high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka.
Build responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using Angular.
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
Participate in technical design discussions and architecture reviews.
Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical solutions.
Drive continuous improvement in development processes and engineering practices.

Requirements

8+ years of software development experience
Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17
Expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Framework
Experience designing and developing Microservices Architecture
Strong experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven systems
Hands-on experience with Angular (8+)
Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, * Experience in Banking or Financial Services domain.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Exposure to cloud-native application development.
Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD automation.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience leading development teams and delivering complex projects.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
