Job description

The Designery Memphis is seeking a warm, energetic, and service-focused Client experience & Design Consultant to create a five-star client experience while helping homeowners and builders bring their dream kitchens, baths, and closets to life.

This part-time role blends hospitality, relationship building, sales, and entry-level design. You’ll be the welcoming face of our showroom while learning the design-build industry from the ground up.

The Designery Memphis is a full-service design-build company specializing in kitchens, baths, closets, and other interior spaces. We partner with homeowners, builders, and contractors to design, supply, and install beautiful, functional spaces that enhance the way people live.

What You’ll Do

  • Welcome clients and create an exceptional showroom experience.
  • Conduct showroom tours and introduce visitors to our products and services.
  • Assist with product selections, design inspiration, and preliminary designs.
  • Learn and use design software to create kitchen, bath, and closet layouts.
  • Follow up with leads and help convert showroom visitors into consultations.
  • Build relationships with homeowners, builders, realtors, and referral partners.
  • Coordinate appointments, maintain CRM records, and support project communications.
  • Participate in networking events, community outreach, and showroom activities.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Retail sales?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Interest in home design, remodeling, and beautiful spaces.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and eager to learn., * High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • College coursework or degree in business, marketing, hospitality, interior design, or a related field is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in hospitality, retail, customer service, real estate, design, or another client-facing role preferred.
  • Comfortable using technology, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems.
  • Design software experience is helpful but not required.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Part-time position (minimum 20 hours per week).
