Job description
- Develop floor plans, storefront elevations, 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials to support design concepts aligned with brand standards.
- Translate global design strategies into store-specific solutions across international markets.
- Manage and coordinate with third-party consultants to complete design documentation and packages.
- Review drawing sets for accuracy, quality, and adherence to brand design standards.
- Collaborate with construction, purchasing, visual merchandising, store operations, real estate, and creative teams to ensure functional and on-brand store design execution.
- Review and approve shop drawings as needed.
- Identify and resolve issues that could impact design integrity, cost, or project timelines.
- Prepare design presentations and communicate concepts effectively to cross-functional teams.
- Adapt quickly to changing business needs, evolving prototypes, or material updates.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously across different phases of the design lifecycle.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creatively driven, and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating across global teams and stakeholders., * Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture from an accredited institution.
- 3-5 years of retail design experience, preferably within a corporate or global retail environment.
- Experience working on international store design or travel retail projects preferred.
- Strong technical expertise in:
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- BlueBeam
- Enscape
- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)
- Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Demonstrated ability in 3D modeling, sketching, rendering, and visual presentations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to create, read, and review architectural drawings and design documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing for global or luxury retail brands.
- Experience collaborating within large corporate design teams.
- Knowledge of international codes, design standards, and retail construction processes.
