QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a QA Engineer to establish quality assurance standards and execute end-to-end testing practices. In this position, you will ensure the seamless delivery of both in-house developed applications and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software. You will translate business requirements into test plans, identify automation opportunities, and collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality code deployment.

• Testing Expertise: End-to-end testing, system, regression, load, and UI/integration testing.
• Automation: Ability to identify test cases for automation and utilize automated testing structures.
• Tech Stack Familiarity: JavaScript and JSON proficiency.
• Methodologies: Strong background in Agile development.
• Troubleshooting & Tools: Advanced software troubleshooting, defect tracking, and familiarity with databases (e.g., IBM DB2).
• Process & Support: Tier III application support, change control processes, and excellent written/verbal communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of relevant QA/automated testing experience (or equivalent combined work experience).
• Ability to pass standard background checks (Statewide/Federal Criminal & SSN trace).
