Job description

OCI is looking for an AI Solutions Engineer that helps the Business Operations team transform manual processes into trusted, repeatable AI-assisted solutions. This role combines workflow architecture, AI tooling, systems integration, and operational problem-solving to deliver scalable solutions that drive efficiency and adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and desiredoutcomes

  • Design and build AI-assisted workflows using modern AI development tools andautomation frameworks

  • Translate business requirements into reusable workflows, prompts, agents, skills, andintegrations

  • Connect files, APIs, databases, and enterprise systems to support workflow automation

  • Develop validation and human-in-the-loop controls to ensure output accuracy and trust

  • Troubleshoot workflow, data, integration, and AI-related issues

  • Document solutions, operating procedures, assumptions, and support requirements

  • Support stakeholder adoption through training, guidance, and reusable best practices

  • Identify opportunities to scale successful solutions across teams

Requirements

  • 3+ years building software, automation, data solutions, AI workflows, or business systems

  • Experience delivering AI-enabled solutions beyond proof-of-concept stage

  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, or similar

  • Strong systems thinking, debugging, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience integrating APIs, structured data, files, and business systems

  • Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into technical solutions

  • Strong written communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building agents, skills, MCP integrations, or workflow orchestration frameworks

  • Python, SQL, JSON, YAML, and API development experience

  • Experience with GitHub, version control, and modern development workflows

  • Experience deploying solutions on AWS, Azure, GCP, Vercel, Supabase, or similar platforms

  • Experience building internal tools, operational automation, or AI-enabled business applications

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $90,100 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  9. 11 paid holidays

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
