Job description
What will I be doing? You will support providing support and expertise to assist the Standoff Munitions Application Center (SMAC) component of Joint-Global Strike Operations Center (J-GSOC) forces at Barksdale AFB, LA, along with other areas/locations CONUS and OCONUS, including deployed locations. In this role, you will:
- Function as SMAC Joint Data Network Manager technical expert/advisor to leadership on operation, maintenance, and configuration of the air and space Common Tactical Picture (CTP).
- Maintain CTP Manager qualification provides advanced operational training and advice including over-the-shoulder, classroom, demonstration, one-on-one, and spontaneous training.
- Establish, develop, and maintain effective work relationships with SMAC supported theater JICOs and JTF Joint Data Network Officers (JDNO).
- Manage Tactical Data Link (TDL) Equipment.
- Ensures SMAC equipment is compatible and relevant for integration with all AOC weapon system requirements.
- Plan and coordinate operations for SMAC TDLs.
- Maintain currency on datalink requirements.
- Assist SMAC with developing TTPs for the utilization of TDLs for supporting SMAC operations and data link enabled munitions.
- Maintain currency on current and future all domain collaborative capabilities.
- Maintain currency on current planning requirements and process outlined in SMAC Standoff Weapons Tactical Operations Procedures to better inform Network Operations.
- Provide on-site Tactical Datalink expertise to ensure Government systems are functioning in accordance with MILSTD and current operating techniques and procedures.
- Assist with planning for kinetic and non-kinetic employment of standoff capabilities including the production of weapon routes for government approval.
- Formulate, integrate, analyze, present, and coordinate plans pursuant to government specifications as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Advise and assist the government personnel with deliberate and dynamic targeting development, planning, and execution.

Requirements
What level Clearance do I need? You must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance., * EITHER possess a Bachelor’s degree, OR five (5) years of relevant military service
- Three (3) years of experience as a JICO within an air operations center (AOC) or other similar operations center
- Graduate of the JICO Training Course (JT-301) and one of the following applicable service specialty codes: USAF 13B Air Battle Manager; USMC 7202 Marine Air Command and Control Officer, 7210 Air Defense Control Officer, 5970 Tactical Data Systems Maintenance Officer; USN 6120 Operations Limited Duty Officer, 7120 Operations Warrant Officer; USA 140AT2 Command and Control Systems Technician (W-3 to W-5), 255N Network Management Technician
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
The following experience is preferred:
- Relevant experience with real world or contingency planning/executing TDL during operations
