You’ll design and implement scalable microservices, optimize existing systems, and build infrastructure that enables rapid feature development. Your expertise in Java will be essential, while knowledge of Node.js will provide valuable flexibility in our diverse technology ecosystem.

Our engineering culture values diversity, intellectual curiosity, problem-solving, and openness. We encourage collaboration, big thinking, and calculated risk-taking in a blame-free environment. You’ll have the autonomy to work on meaningful projects while receiving the support and mentorship needed to grow your career.

What You’ll do:

  • Architect and implement microservices that handle high-volume traffic and complex business logic
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in distributed systems
  • Contribute to technical architecture decisions and system design
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for backend services
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 6+ years of experience with backend software development using Java
  • 3+ years of experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
  • 2+ years of experience leading projects and providing technical leadership
  • Strong expertise in Java frameworks and technologies (Spring Boot, Hibernate, Maven/Gradle)
  • Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture
  • Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases, * Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Experience with Node.js for backend development (strong advantage)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure)
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with message queuing systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Experience with performance optimization and scalability
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and clean code principles
