Job description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Functional Support Analyst to join our team and serve as a key point of contact for functional issues and service requests raised by our internal business partners. This is a hands-on support role - distinct from a project implementation engagement - requiring strong day-to-day operational knowledge of Oracle EBS 12.2.7 across Finance, Projects, Procurement, and HR modules., Ticket Management & Support

  • Manage and resolve incoming support tickets and service requests from business partners in a timely manner.
  • Triage, prioritize, and troubleshoot functional issues across EBS modules including GL, AP, CM, Assets, Projects, Procurement, OM, AR, Payroll, Benefits, and Core HR.
  • Open Oracle Service Requests (SRs) with Oracle Support when required and follow up through to resolution.
  • Perform basic SQL queries on EBS data to investigate and troubleshoot application issues.

Functional Operations

  • Support bank setup and ongoing Cash Management (CM) operations.
  • Assist with General Ledger activities across multiple ledgers, Operating Units, and Ledger Sets for consolidated reporting.
  • Suprt Accounts Payable processing, invoice management, and payment operations.
  • Provide functional support for Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, Project-tied Procurement, Order Management, and Accounts Receivable.
  • Support Payroll, Benefits, and Core HR functional queries in coordination with HR stakeholders.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Support EiS reporting requirements during the active migration to SplashBI; assist users with report access and data queries.
  • Document issue resolutions, workarounds, and standard operating procedures for recurring support scenarios.
  • Produce status updates and communicate resolution timelines to business stakeholders.
  • Collaboration & Communication
  • Act as a trusted liaison between the business user community and the technical/IT team.
  • Collaborate with team members on complex cross-module issues while independently managing assigned tickets.
  • Participate in team meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and process improvement discussions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can independently triage and resolve tickets, communicate clearly with end users, and collaborate effectively with the broader team. Our Oracle environment includes multiple ledgers, multiple Operating Units (OUs), and Ledger Sets for consolidated reporting. We are currently in the process of migrating from EiS Reporting to SplashBI., * Strong functional expertise in Oracle EBS 12.2.x - specifically in a day-to-day support capacity (not just implementation experience). - MANDATORY

  • Hands-on functional knowledge of GL, AP, and Cash Management (CM) including bank setup and reconciliation.
  • Solid understanding of the EBS foundational architecture: Chart of Accounts, legal entities, ledgers, OUs, and inventory organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting multi-ledger, multi-OU Oracle environments with Ledger Sets for consolidated reporting.
  • Ability to write basic SQL queries to research and troubleshoot data issues in EBS tables.
  • Experience opening, managing, and following up on Oracle Support Service Requests (SRs).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain functional issues to non-technical end users.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a structured, methodical approach to problem resolution.
  • Well organized with the ability to manage multiple tickets and priorities simultaneously.
  • Quick arner who can adapt to organization-specific configurations, customizations, and business processes.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment., * Functional knowledge of Oracle EBS modules beyond core Finance: Fixed Assets, Projects, Project Procurement, Order Management (OM), Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Familiarity with Oracle Payroll, Benefits, and Core HR functional processes.
  • Experience with EiS Reporting and/or SplashBI for Oracle EBS reporting and data visualization.
  • Oracle EBS certification or formal Oracle training in Finance or SCM modules.
  • Prior experience working in a managed services or shared services support environment.
