Job description

Perform engineering analysis and design support for aircraft cabin electronic systems, including lighting, passenger address systems, in-flight entertainment, passenger connectivity, and satellite communication systems. Support system-level integration, validation, and certification activities across multiple aircraft programs. Execute design and analysis tasks within a cross-functional engineering environment focused on aircraft interior electronic systems., * Perform design and analysis of aircraft cabin electronic systems, including lighting and passenger connectivity systems

  • Support system integration activities across avionics and cabin electronic subsystems
  • Evaluate system performance and ensure compliance with engineering and certification requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support aircraft development programs
  • Assist in validation and verification of electronic system functionality
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation supporting design and analysis activities
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of system integration issues
  • Contribute to model-based development activities where applicable

  • Physical Requirements & Environment
  • Office and engineering lab environment work required
  • Occasional aircraft or integration facility exposure possible
  • Standard first-shift onsite engineering work schedule

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Data Science, or Computer Science
  • 3+ years of experience in an electrical or electronic design engineering environment
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering classification or equivalent combination of education and experience (Bachelor’s level standardization)
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Experience working in aircraft electronic systems design and analysis environments

  • Preferred Skills
  • Experience with aircraft electrical systems, hardware, and software integration
  • Knowledge of FAA certification processes and requirements
  • Experience supporting system design and integration during aircraft development programs
  • Experience using model-based development tools
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, including verbal, written, and technical documentation, and collaboration
