Senior Software Developer

Duties: Collaborate with other engineers as well as product managers, solution architects, tech leads, UX designers, and development operations engineers to deliver fast, reliable, maintainable solution in Amazon Web Services (AWS). Participate in all phases of software engineering including requirements, design, coding, and testing. Design and implement product features in collaboration with product managers and stakeholders. Design reusable components, frameworks, web applications, libraries, and micro-services. Present architectural diagrams and get buy in from customers. Consult on projects providing best practice support to help realize the requirements with a micro-service approach. Design and support mission critical, high availability architectures with a focus on implementing in cloud platforms. Implement individual software components, with high emphasis on quality, test-driven development, and sound software engineering practices. Develop, deploy, and debug

cloud-based applications using AWS. May work 5 days per two weeks within normal commuting distance of Lawrence Township, NJ.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and five (5) years of progressive postbaccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, the employer will accept a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and three (3) years of related work experience.
