Datacenter Technical Program Manager (TPM) role focused on AI builds/clusters includes a strong technical background in hardware deployment, data center infrastructure, and program management for large-scale AI/high-performance computing (HPC) systems. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams (engineering, supply chain, operations, vendors) to design, build, deploy, and scale HPC clusters in Tesla-owned/built data centers. This position is based in the Tesla Palo Alto office. Tesla is a fast-moving, dynamic environment where flexibility and adaptability are key attributes needed for success. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, go-getter, motivated, and bring expert overall Program Management expertise. What You’ll Do
- ProgramManagement: Guide engineering programs in all aspects of program management - planning, forecasting, documenting, scheduling, effective meetings, multi-faceted prioritization, management of dependencies, reporting, and effective handling of critical and blocking issues
- Drive end-to-end large scale Tesla HPC AI4/AI5 cluster builds and deployments
- Collaborating with teams across the company to plan and drive IT Infrastructure programs
- Gathering requirements, scope, helping prioritization, resources, budget and planning for all phases of the Program life cycle
- Drive organizational alignment and efficiency by coordinating with multi-functional leads and streamlining processes
- Serve as the first point of escalation for the project team
- Work closely with Application Teams, internal IT teams, Manufacturing, Factory teams and Operations team in deploying new applications, environment provisioning, and key IT/AI infrastructure
- Leadership&Communication: Presenttoseniorleadership,managevendors/customers andresolveissuesinambiguousorhigh-pressureenvironments
- Report on overall program status, providing insights ,risks and recommendations to senior management
Requirements
- 7+ years program management experience including ability managing global projects adaptable to multiple timezones
- Minimum 5+ years of experience of network infrastructure engineering or infrastructure technical program management experience
- Hands-on experience managing infrastructure programs -Datacenter builds/migration, WAN implementation, Public and Private cloud deployments including large-scale Object Storage, infrastructure, operations, networking, telecom, and/or security
- Ability to match the Tesla fast pace & culture

Expected Compensation $136,000 - $264,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
