Job description

  • Develop and write technical requirements for the efficient collection and presentation of data.
  • Assist in identifying, researching, and creating required deliverables in support of the Software Acquisition Pathway.
  • Assist in the development or development management of the new COMSEC reporting platform and iterative deliveries.
  • Develop standards, metrics, and processes for COMSEC equipment health and status reporting.
  • Assess LOE and best path alternatives to update COMSEC equipment.
  • Analyze plans for device development and upgrades to ensure health and status reporting compliance.
  • Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to develop research, design, implement, test, and evaluate software and systems, in conjunction with hardware product development, that enable computers to perform their applications.
  • Analyze software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Consult with program engineering staff to evaluate the interface between hardware and software and the operational and performance requirements of the overall system.

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds., * Computer Engineering or related bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience executing or overseeing agile software development projects, preferably within the Department of Defense
  • Experience developing agile software requirements required
  • Experience drafting highly technical documentation, briefings, and reports
  • Knowledge of DoD Acquisition and Risk Management processes

Required licenses or certifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
