We are looking for motivated individuals who enjoy collaborating, digging into problems, and transforming ideas into actionable development work. If you find yourself constantly improving the way things work, asking thoughtful questions, or getting excited about connecting user needs with system solutions-there’s a good chance you’ll be a great fit for our team.

The Position - You will be required to:

Work within the application development team to help shape, deliver, and enhance internal systems and digital tools that support our Homebuyers, Sales Teams, Builders, Partners, and overall business operations.

You will:

  • Assist the Product Owner in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog based on business value, team capacity, and strategic direction.

  • Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria for new features, enhancements, and workflow improvements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including development, QA, UX, operations, and stakeholders-to ensure alignment and shared understanding of requirements.

  • Help identify and triage system bugs, documenting them with detailed reproduction steps and expected results.

  • Participate in feature proposal discussions/creations, cycle planning, standups, backlog refinement, and reviews.

  • Conduct research, gather data, and analyze system processes to understand user needs and identify opportunities for optimization.

  • Help validate completed development work to ensure it meets acceptance criteria and delivers meaningful value to end users.

  • Support communication efforts by preparing release notes, feature documentation, and updates for impacted departments.

  • Build foundational knowledge of DWH systems, business processes, and the end-to-end customer experience.

Requirements

The Technical - You need to have or know:

  • Foundational knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and the role of a Product Owner.

  • Ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria that convey business value.

  • Analytical skills to understand system workflows, investigate issues, and interpret data.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a sense of urgency and ownership.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, stakeholders, and business partners.

  • Basic understanding of software testing, quality assurance, or bug reporting workflows.

It would be nice for you to have or know:

  • Experience or knowledge in a ScrumMaster or Agile facilitator role.

  • SQL or other basic data querying skills.

  • Familiarity with Kanban methodology.

  • Experience working with geographically dispersed or cross-functional teams.

The Candidate - We are looking for:

  • An effective communicator who listens actively and can articulate ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Organized, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • A team player who builds strong relationships and collaborates well across roles and departments.

  • Self-motivated, reliable, and committed to seeing tasks through to completion.

  • Comfortable asking questions, seeking clarity, and sharing early when risks or issues arise.

  • Ability to thrive in a flexible, fast-moving environment and contribute to a high-performance team culture.

  • Eager to grow your skills in product ownership and Agile methodology.
