Job description

  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines to support a data warehouse environment.
  • Craft data solutions that meet business and enterprise requirements using SQL, Python, and ETL tools.
  • Apply and articulate sound coding practices and standards across data processing.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to map, transform, and model data for analytics and reporting.

Requirements

We are seeking an ETL Focused Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL, Python, ETL tools, and data warehousing and a proven ability to design, build, and support scalable data transformation solutions that meet business and enterprise requirements., * Strong SQL proficiency with clear understanding of clean coding practices.

  • Hands-on experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle Exadata.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse, data mart, data modeling, and business intelligence concepts.
  • Experience with Informatica for ETL development.
  • Familiarity with Autosys or similar orchestration tools.
  • Curiosity and problem-solving mindset with a focus on data transformation.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure or self-education with Unix scripting.
  • Exposure or self-education with Python for data processing (e.g., pandas, DataFrames).
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins).
  • Exposure to Airflow for workflow orchestration.
  • Experience designing and building data warehouses and understanding end-to-end data flows.
  • Willingness to learn and take on challenges outside current skill set.
  • Experience working within Agile development methodologies.
