Job description

We’re a digital marketing agency helping local service businesses grow. Our team designs high-converting websites in Figma and we need a developer to bring those designs to life in WordPress using Elementor, with sites that load fast and rank well.

You’ll work alongside our designers and frontend team to implement pixel-accurate, fast-loading, SEO-optimized sites that convert. This isn’t a design role. Your job is to take the design and build it cleanly, quickly, and exactly the way it was meant to look while making sure it performs.

What you’ll do:

  • Implement Figma designs into fully functional WordPress sites using Elementor
  • Hand-code custom HTML and CSS where Elementor falls short (we lean on HTML often our team is strong here, and you should be too)
  • Build sites that load fast Core Web Vitals, mobile speed, and Lighthouse scores matter
  • Apply on-page SEO best practices on every build (proper heading structure, schema, meta tags, image optimization, internal linking, clean URLs)
  • Build responsive layouts that look right on desktop, tablet, and mobile
  • Integrate forms, CRM connections, tracking pixels, and third-party marketing tools
  • Maintain and update existing client sites as needed
  • Collaborate with our designers, copywriters, and strategists to keep builds on schedule

Requirements

Do you have experience in WordPress?, * Strong WordPress experience with Elementor Pro (non-negotiable)

  • Solid HTML5 and CSS3 you can write what Elementor can’t generate
  • Proven track record with on-page SEO you understand how site structure, schema, and content hierarchy impact rankings
  • Proven track record with site speed and performance you know how to optimize images, lazy-load, minimize plugin bloat, and hit green Core Web Vitals
  • Comfortable working from Figma files and translating designs accurately
  • Experience with marketing and lead generation pages, not just informational sites
  • Familiarity with form integrations, CRMs, and marketing tool connections
  • Some design sensibility is a plus you don’t need to design from scratch, but you should know when something looks off and be able to fix it
  • Someone who communicates clearly, takes ownership, and hits deadlines

Skills: WordPress, Elementor Pro, HTML5, CSS3, Figma, on-page SEO, Core Web Vitals, page speed optimization, schema markup, basic JavaScript
