ANR - Configuration Manager (GEOMAP)

Alaska Northstar Resources is hiring! We are seeking a Configuration Manager to take on a role that is yet to be awarded. This is a hybrid remote role, and the selected candidate shall be within commuting/driving distance of an installation that allows routine SIPR access and be available to perform SIPR activities as required.

The Configuration Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

• Supporting maintenance of a compliant CM system aligned to the Government CM Plan
• Performing CM duties as directed (baseline identification, change control, CI, status accounting, and auditing) using Government-recommended CM toolsets/repositories
• Supporting requirements traceability tooling for program configuration items (CIs) as directed

Do you have experience in Writing skills?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen

• Candidate must possess an active DOD Secret clearance (or higher)
• Candidate must reside within commuting/driving distance of an installation that allows routine SIPR access and be available to perform SIPR activities as required
• Candidate must have at least 2 years of experience performing configuration management duties on DoD projects
• AWS Cloud One experience
• In depth knowledge of Microsoft products to include Office and Teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional Organizational and Time Management skills
• Ability to problem solve and work independently

Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Experience supporting Agile or DevSecOps environments
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field

Other Essential Functions

The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, make rational decisions, and to exercise good judgment is essential (100%). Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.

Work Environment

Office environment. Requires ability to provide clear, concise, accurate and timely communication, both verbally and in writing (100%). Requires ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, and client (100%). Occasional business travel may be required. Only requested and approved expenses will be covered by ANR.
