Data Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical GIS Analyst to join our small Surveying Practice. The ideal candidate will possess a background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and will be responsible for managing and analysing spatial data to support various projects. This role requires proficiency in GIS software and an understanding of land surveying principles, making it essential for the successful execution of our projects. Training also given.

Responsibilities

• Utilise GIS software to create, manage, and analyse spatial data.
• Enhancing our GIS solutions that meet project requirements.
• Conduct land surveying activities and integrate findings into CRM/Pipedrive/Excel/GIS databases.
• Prepare detailed maps, reports, and visualisations to communicate geographic information effectively.
• Maintain data integrity through data management practices.
• Assist in the development of GIS applications and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• We will provide technical support and training to understand GIS-related tasks.
• Update our Pipedrive/CRM system

Do you have experience in Microsoft Excel?, * Proficiency in GIS and Excel is essential for this role.

• Knowledge of map reading highly desirable.
• Strong data management skills, with the ability to organise and analyse large datasets.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting and presentations.
