Data Centers Monitoring of Systems

Job description

  • Monitor and maintain mission critical mechanical, electrical and fire/life/safety systems: HVAC/chilled water systems, cooling towers, CRAC/CRAH units, pumps/valves, and building monitoring and controls.

  • Support critical power: generators, switchgear, UPS, and power distribution to customer load.

  • Perform preventive/corrective maintenance, inspections, and rounds; document work orders and escalate issues promptly.

  • Operate tools and diagnostics (multi-meter, infrared camera, BMS/PLC/monitoring systems) to troubleshoot and restore service.

  • Follow safety procedures (LOTO, arc flash) and support Fire Life Safety systems and testing.

  • Collaborate with peers/vendors to complete tasks, improve reliability, and minimize downtime., * Work on mission-critical systems with clear procedures and growth in facilities/data center operations.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Power tools?, * Hands-on experience with large commercial/industrial mechanical systems (e.g., chilled water plants, HVAC/CRAC/CRAH) and critical power (generators, UPS,

switchgear).

  • Proficiency with monitoring/control systems (BMS/PLC) and standard hand/power tools; ability to read procedures and equipment documentation.

  • Strong safety mindset (LOTO, NFPA70E practices); clear written/verbal communication and attention to detail.

  • Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and work on ladders/raised platforms, with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Reliable, on-site attendance; ability to participate in after-hours notification/escalation when required., * Mechanical/Electrical/HVAC: 1 year (Required)
