Salesforce developer - Hybrid - Permanent

We have an amazing opportunity for a Salesforce developer to join our team,and play a vital role in continually improving and enhancing the Salesforce platform at Jisc. You will work closely with experienced Salesforce Developers to develop, support and maintain the Salesforce platform.

You will work on a diverse range of developments that will not only challenge your technical skills but also allow you to expand them in new and exciting ways. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, gain exposure to different clouds, and leverage the latest Salesforce technologies. This variety keeps the work dynamic, and with each new challenge, you’ll deepen your expertise and grow as a developer, positioning yourself for future success.

Working with the development team you will provide the resources for 2nd and 3rd line technical support (break/ fix), delivering changes from the operational backlog (delivered via fortnightly sprints) and project-based work for larger change and transformational initiatives.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide system development and administration on Salesforce associated clouds including, but not limited to, Sales, Service, Experience, CPQ, Revenue and Communications.
• Provide 2rd line support for Salesforce including technical queries, usability, reporting, events, integration of systems, change requests and policy.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and support translating these into development tasks.
• Develop solutions using Apex, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Implement and maintain Salesforce automation using Flows and Approval Processes.
• Perform unit, system, peer, and user acceptance testing., Jisc has an active sponsor licence to recruit on a Skilled worker visa basis. Do you have experience in Software deployment?, * Previous experience working as a SalesForce developer with exposure to at least two of the following technologies:

• SalesForce SalesCloud for CRM
• SalesForce ServiceCloud for ITSM
• SalesForce CPQ
• SalesForce Revenue Cloud
• Strong skills in Apex, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components.
• Experience with Salesforce Flows and Approval Processes.
• Experience using Copado or similar DevOps/deployment tools for Salesforce releases.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
