Job description
As a Software Engineer, you’ll work closely with other engineers, product managers and delivery teams to build and maintain production-grade software. You’ll bring strength in either frontend or backend engineering, while being supported to broaden your experience into full-stack development., * Design, develop and maintain high-quality software solutions that meet business and user needs.
- Deliver end-to-end features, from design and development through to testing, deployment and ongoing support.
- Apply software engineering best practices, including clean architecture, design patterns and coding standards.
- Write clean, testable and maintainable code, prioritising simplicity and long-term maintainability.
- Implement and maintain robust testing strategies, including unit, integration and automated tests.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming and knowledge sharing across the team.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Delivery and Engineering peers to align solutions with business goals.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and DevOps practices to improve delivery efficiency.
- Build and maintain production-grade services that are secure, reliable and compliant with architectural standards.
- Continuously develop your technical skills and stay up to date with modern engineering practices and technologies.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Vue.js?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Proven experience as a Software Engineer with depth in either frontend or backend development.
- Strong working knowledge of Java/Spring Boot or JavaScript/TypeScript with React or Vue.
- Understanding of software design principles and component-based architecture.
- Experience writing and maintaining automated tests (unit and integration).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or similar).
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
- Awareness of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps principles and automation practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to learn from others.
- A growth mindset and motivation to develop broader full-stack capability.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
