Automation Technical Applications Assistant Manager - SAP ERP AI RPA (35434)

A global IT service provider is seeking an Automation Technical Applications Assistant Manager to join their team in Manhattan. This role will play a key technical leadership position within the CoE, responsible for designing and governing a scalable automation platform that integrates AI agents, RPA, and enterprise systems to deliver secure, sustainable, and enterprise-grade automation solutions. This is a direct hire, full time, Permanent role and Hybrid work setting., * Managed end-to-end technical architecture for agentic automation solutions (UiPath Maestro) integrated with UiPath RPA and enterprise systems

• Define and enforce engineering standards for reusable components, exception handling, logging, deployment, and monitoring
• Provide hands-on technical leadership including code reviews, troubleshooting, and refactoring guidance
• Work closely with cross-functional leadership teams to support platform operations, release planning, and environment management.
• Establish governance frameworks for agentic automation, including human-in-the-loop controls, escalation paths, and decision boundaries
• Collaborate with security, ERP, and business stakeholders to ensure compliance, auditability, and access control
• Drive standardization and reuse of automation assets across business units and regions
• Perform other related duties as required

Do you have experience in Systems integration?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field preferred

• Japanese language skill is a big asset but not mandatory
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across development, operations, and business teams
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions across IT and business stakeholders
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP GUI) and business processes such as order management, finance, or logistics
• Experience designing governance frameworks for automation or AI-driven platforms
• Strong technical expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including: Stored Procedures, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) or SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
• Ability to support data integration, reporting, and automation solutions
