Job description

In this dynamic position, you’ll be key in ensuring the successful application of fuel injection technologies within the automotive sector. You’ll manage product integrity throughout its lifecycle by liaising between engineering, testing, and manufacturing teams, focusing heavily on problem-solving and documentation. Core Responsibilities

Design and improve remanufacturing methods for hydraulic and diesel injection systems.

Deliver support for application engineering in fuel injection systems and relevant programs.

Probe and rectify performance discrepancies, liaising with various functional teams.

Drive root cause investigations and develop corrective action strategies for technical challenges.

Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including incident and audit reports.

Regularly participate in engineering discussions, providing status updates to relevant parties.

Offer technical insights to enhance manufacturing processes and maintain quality assurance.

Work with labs, quality assurance, and suppliers to efficiently resolve technical hurdles.

Promote continuous improvements to boost product performance and dependability.

Work Environment

Mainly office-based with occasional on-site presence in engineering, quality, and manufacturing spaces.

Collaboration with various teams across disciplines.

On-call support may be necessary during pivotal launches or complex issue resolution periods.

Requirements

Do you have experience in System design?, Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.

At least 5 years of experience in application engineering, product support, or validation roles.

Experience with diesel engine injector design and performance analyses, leveraging tools such as 3D SolidWorks.

Solid analytical skills with a passion for detail-oriented problem solving.

Ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely to varied audiences.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Experience with automotive fuel or engine system development.

Proficiency in root cause analysis and implementing corrective measures.

Familiarity with product launches and engineering support operations.

Capacity to work collaboratively with suppliers and manufacturing counterparts.
