Job description

In this role, you’ll support our mission by providing high-level service in maintaining accurate constituent records and processing, acknowledging, and tracking donations from a variety of giving sources., * Execute accurate and timely gift processing for a high volume of donations across multiple giving channels and platforms, ensuring prompt recording and acknowledgment of contributions in compliance with organizational standards, policies, and data management procedures.

  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in preparing, importing, and reconciling donor data across multiple fundraising and operational systems, including processing contributions received through a direct mail lockbox service and donations generated through various organizational database platforms.
  • Provide expert-level support for end-to-end gift processing and fulfillment, including preparation and manual entry of gift batches, accurate recording of donations across all giving channels (mailed-in, walk-in, direct deposits, telemarketing, pledges, securities), and execution of data entry and system imports.
  • Generate detailed financial and donor reports to support gift batch reconciliation, financial integrity, stewardship, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate constituent records through detailed recordkeeping and regular audits, ensuring proper tracking of donor information, relationships, research, and cultivation activities, while proactively identifying and resolving duplicate records across data entry, imports, and reporting processes.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Productivity software?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, * Must have experience and high proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and advanced Mail Merge experience, and with donor database systems such as Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge NXT and Luminate Online (or equivalent systems) and data tools, such as Omatic’s ImportOmatic.

  • A bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of related experience is strongly preferred.
  • An associate’s degree and a minimum of three (3) years of full-time related experience, or an equivalent combination of related work experience and education is required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be approved by SDHS insurance carrier to drive a company or personal vehicle for work purposes.

Location & Hours: Supports all campuses, but based at our San Diego Campus with occasional automobile travel and visits to off-site locations and special events using own transportation.

Pay: Starting range is between $24.20 - $26.92 per hour.

The listed hiring range for this position depicts the target range of pay rates for candidates. The maximum of the hiring range is reserved for candidates with the highest qualifications and relevant experience. Compensation for internal candidates may increase beyond the listed range based on performance over time. For all candidates, the actual starting pay rate is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to your years of related education and experience, internal pay equity, and position location.
