Job description

  • Serve as first-line support and contact for end-users seeking technical assistance via telephone or email.
  • Perform on-site or remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions to determine the source of the problem and to resolve a range of technical issues via email or telephone.
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by the end-users, and walk the customer through the problem-solving process.
  • Provide computer and communication orientation to new staff members, and training new staff members through developed, on-the-job-training modules.
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by the employees.
  • Walk the customer through the problem-solving process.
  • Assume ownership of client ticket, review existing tickets, follow-up with end-users through closure, and escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel, when necessary.
  • Enter all call details and resolutions into ticketing system in accordance with departmental procedures.
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.
  • Complete compliance training within a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Word embeddings?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, We are seeking a Junior IT Help Desk Support candidate to provide first-level support to in-house end-users and remote staff. You will respond to and deal with software and hardware queries; provide customer service to end-users; technical assistance and support on computer hardware, software, printers, and telephones. In addition, you must possess analytical skills and active listening skills to decipher the end-user issues to help with troubleshooting and prioritizing duties., * A positive attitude and enthusiasm with the ability to consistently deliver top-notch customer service.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with end-users at all levels within the organization.
  • Customer-centric, composed, and patient under pressure when working to resolve the end-users issue.
  • Self-starter who can work independently within a team environment, when necessary.
  • Confidence and ability to take ownership of tasks and follows through to ensure complete resolution.
  • Must take a personal interest in, and responsibility for, the quality of work performed.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies via both self-study and through training.
  • Adheres to the rules and regulations within a regulated working context., * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science and/or two years of equivalent work experience.
  • Tech-savvy with working knowledge of office automation products and remote control.
  • Hands-on computer hardware knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.
  • General understanding of phone systems and printing environments.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic and more technical issues.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
  • Works well autonomously as well as within a team environment.
  • Ability to travel between branch locations as needed., * Microsoft applications/software troubleshooting: 2 years (Required)
