Requirements

10+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
Advanced knowledge of Cisco switching (Catalyst platforms, VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, routing, QoS, and high availability).
Extensive experience with Cisco wireless infrastructure, including legacy Cisco 5520 Wireless LAN Controllers.
Strong wireless design, validation, and troubleshooting skills using Ekahau.
Experience performing predictive designs, active/passive site surveys, and post-deployment optimization.
Deep understanding of RF fundamentals, channel planning, coverage, capacity, roaming, and interference mitigation.
Experience with Cisco ISE, 802.1X authentication, and enterprise wireless security is preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot complex Layer 2/Layer 3 and wireless issues in production environments.
Cisco CCNP Enterprise certification (required); CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure or Wireless is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Experience migrating from Cisco AireOS (5520 WLCs) to Catalyst 9800 controllers.
Familiarity with Cisco DNA Center and Catalyst 9000 switching.
Experience with large campus wireless deployments.
Knowledge of network monitoring and packet analysis tools such as Wireshark.
Strong documentation and customer-facing communication skills.
