Job description

We’re looking for a motivated Junior Web Developer to join our team in a role centered on web accessibility remediation. You’ll audit client websites for WCAG compliance issues and implement code-level fixes that make the web more inclusive. This is a great opportunity for a developer who cares about doing meaningful work and wants to deepen their expertise in an increasingly in-demand area of web development.

This is a hybrid position. You’ll work remotely most of the week with one day in our Twinsburg, OH office.

What You’ll Do

  • Audit client websites for accessibility issues against WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA standards
  • Implement front-end remediation (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ARIA) across a variety of platforms
  • Work within eCommerce environments including Shopify and WooCommerce
  • Communicate findings and progress clearly in writing and via project management tools

Requirements

Do you have experience in JavaScript?, * 1-2 years of experience in web development

  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with WCAG guidelines and accessibility best practices is a plus
  • Experience with Shopify and/or WooCommerce preferred
  • Comfortable working independently and self-managing tasks across multiple client projects
  • Strong attention to detail

Nice to Have

  • Experience using screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) for manual testing
  • Exposure to accessibility auditing tools (axe, Lighthouse, WAVE)
  • Any certifications or coursework related to web accessibility (CPACC, WAS, etc.)
