Full Stack Jr. Software Developer

Mission: The Full Stack Junior Software Developer will be joining a collaborative team to rapidly develop emergency communication software driving real-world product team outcomes. Should be inquisitive, hard working, humble, and have strong communication skills. Absolutely must be passionate about R+D and committed to constant research and learning.

The Full Stack Junior Developer will help to solve problems for fire departments and our Active911 clients: managing their people. The job is to work alongside CEO Joseph Sullivan, helping to figure out how to solve the problems of these first responders.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design products by writing and editing code
• Investigate known and unknown issues and propose solutions
• Complete high priority tickets quickly
• Evaluate tickets for ability to complete and time to complete
• Report blocked tickets
• Actively participate in team meetings
• Draft documentation of work
• Other duties as required

Do you have experience in Research & development?, * Great with coding, e.g. NodeJS , C++, Python

• Commitment to continuous learning
• Relevant degree and/or experience in a software development role
• Comfortable with HTML5 and CSS3
• Background in Linux
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to visualize a proposed system and be able to build it
• Be sociable
