IT & Web Developer

Nova Management is seeking a Full Time Permanent Position IT System Administrator to lead in-house technology initiatives critical to business transformation and growth. The IT System Administrator will coordinate software evaluations and implementations, guide new AI-driven and automation projects, and manage vendor relationships-all to drive efficiency and enhance the resident and employee experience across Nova’s expansive property portfolio.

Responsibilities

Website Development & Management

• Maintain and update multiple company websites

Software Development

• Develop new web pages and landing pages
• Improve website speed and SEO
• Troubleshoot website issues
• Manage WordPress and custom websites
• Implement new website features
• Develop internal web applications and tools
• Design and maintain databases
• Write SQL queries
• Create automation tools
• Integrate APIs and third-party software
• Improve company workflows using AI and automation

Graphics & Marketing Support

• Design website graphics
• Create brochures, flyers, advertisements, and presentations
• Edit images
• Create social media graphics
• Assist with branding and marketing materials

IT & Network Administration

• Set up and maintain employee computers
• Manage Windows PCs and Macs
• Configure Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
• Maintain Wi-Fi, switches, routers, printers, and firewalls
• Manage backups and cybersecurity
• Install software and hardware
• Provide technical support to employees

Technology Project Management

• Research new technology solutions
• Work with outside software developers
• Write project specifications
• Test software before deployment
• Ensure projects stay on schedule
• Recommend improvements to company technology

AI & Automation

• Implement AI tools throughout the company
• Automate repetitive office tasks
• Evaluate new AI software
• Build AI-powered workflows.
• Develop new web pages and landing pages
• Improve website speed and SEO
• Troubleshoot website issues
• Manage WordPress and custom websites
• Implement new website features

• Strong website development experience
• HTML

• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Full-time availability, working in-person at Nova’s Houston headquarters., * Bachelor on Computer Science
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in technology
• Python, React, Node.js, MySQL, API integrations, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, Figma, AI tools (Open AI, Claude, Gemini), Basic networking and firewall, configuration, Cybersecurity experience, Cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, Digital Ocean, Cloudflare)

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times., * IT management: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• CompTIA Cloud+ (Preferred)
