Job description

QPCS is seeking a highly motivated Risk Management Specialist to support the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP). This role plays a key part in analyzing risk and incident data, supporting system improvements, and ensuring compliance with state guidelines to enhance outcomes for individuals served., * Facilitate and participate in regional risk management and quality meetings

  • Prepare and present Risk Management (RM) and Quality Management (QM) reports
  • Review county Incident Management (IM) analysis reports
  • Develop regional IM analysis reports and insights
  • Approve and close incident reports in required systems
  • Conduct certified investigations and peer reviews for critical incidents
  • Perform HCSIS data management (incident closure, deletions, etc.)
  • Provide technical support for incident management systems
  • Deliver trainings (data warehouse, ECM, risk & incident management)
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including meeting minutes and reports

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical Proficiency?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Business, or related field OR 10 years of relevant experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in risk or incident management preferred
  • Knowledge of risk assessment, incident management, and system-level analysis
  • Understanding of statistics, data analysis, and reporting methods
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and data tools

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with HCSIS and incident management systems
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Ability to interpret data and communicate findings effectively
  • Excellent organizational and collaboration skills, * Do you have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Business, or related field OR 10 years of relevant experience, * risk or incident management preferred: 2 years (Preferred)
