Job description

The Application Analyst is responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise applications critical to the business, including SharePoint and other business applications. This role ensures applications run efficiently, meet business needs, and integrate seamlessly with other systems. The analyst will work closely with vendors, IT teams, and end-users to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and support new software deployments. Support to other Corporate and Facility IT personnel is provided, as warranted, and participation in 24x7 on-call support is provided based on Corporate IT staff rotation., * Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve application-related incidents.

  • Responds to and resolves inquiries and requests for assistance with Corporate or facility, and provides a superior customer support experience for all users.
  • Configure and fine-tune applications to align with business workflows and improve performance.
  • Create user guides, conduct training sessions, and assist employees in using applications effectively.
  • Ensure seamless integration between applications and other IT systems, including databases and APIs.
  • Configure and maintain SharePoint sites, permissions, workflows, and integrations.
  • Maintain security settings, control access, and ensure applications meet regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Provides 24x7 on-call support based on Corporate IT staff rotation
  • Recommends process changes that improve the implementation, maintenance and support of CMG IT desktop equipment and software
  • Effectively works with customers, Service Desk and Technical Services personnel
  • Participates in meetings, committees, and continuing education to improve individual, departmental and organizational performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Salesforce?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Experience with enterprise applications such as SharePoint, EHR, ERP, CRM, HRIS, or SaaS solutions.
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems Jira.
  • SharePoint Management - Configuration, site administration, workflows, permissions, lists/libraries, and integrations.
  • Database & SQL - Ability to query, troubleshoot, and manage SQL databases for application data.
  • API & System Integrations - Working with REST APIs, Power Automate, or third-party integrations to connect applications.
  • Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or Microsoft 365 cloud services.
  • Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI to enhance workflows.
  • Basic understanding of ITIL processes and methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service, * Where would you rate yourself on a scale of 1 to 5, 5 being the most proficient in working with Operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) ?

Experience:

  • Salesforce: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Azure, AWS, or Microsoft 365 cloud services: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Application Support, System Analysis, or IT Operations: 2 years (Required)
