IT Generalist / Systems Administrator

• Provide in-house desktop PC hardware and software support.
• Design, manage and maintain cloud infrastructure
• Manage and monitor various local network and other system hardware
• Manage Active Directory user accounts, add/remove users
• Maintain, design and deploy LAN/WAN network
• Manage VoIP phone system configuration
• Maintain and monitor system backups
• Oversee disaster recovery plans
• Plan and execute strategies to maintain security on computers and networks
• Maintain knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices
• Perform problem-solving tasks when alerted by users or system monitoring
• Participate in rotating 24x7 on-call support (calls are infrequent)
• Create documentation for systems and procedures

Do you have experience in iOS support?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, * Relevant associates degree or better, or equivalent work experience

• Knowledge of computer software, operating systems and hardware
• Understanding of basic Linux command line functions
• Understanding of LAN and WAN networking fundamentals
• Knowledge of mainstream mobile device platforms like Android and iOS
• Ability to problem solve, think critically, relay actionable instructions to end users
• The ability to work and collaborate with a team or work independently to meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experienced in providing professional and courteous customer service
• Powershell and bash scripting skills
• Project management skills
• Ability to work remotely to provide after-hours support
• Some travel required, infrequent, as-needed for new hardware installations
• Knowledge of AI tools to efficiently troubleshoot and debug issues
• Proficiency in:
• Microsoft Windows, Active Directory
• Linux
• Google Workspace (G-Suite)
• Google Cloud Platform
