Job description

Support Configuration Drift Management using SaltStack (Salt).
Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions for VMware Cloud Foundation environments.
Manage and support both VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 5.2.x and VCF 9.x deployments.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, automation, and configuration management issues.
Collaborate with Broadcom and JPMC engineering teams to ensure platform stability and compliance.
Follow enterprise best practices for infrastructure automation, configuration management, and operational excellence.

Requirements

Strong experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
Hands-on expertise with VCF 9.x (highly preferred).
Experience supporting VCF 5.2.x environments.
Strong knowledge of SaltStack (Salt) for configuration management and automation.
Experience with enterprise infrastructure operations and VMware administration.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

This engagement is managed by Broadcom for one of the world’s leading financial institutions,. The consultant will play a key role in managing Configuration Drift using SaltStack across VMware Cloud Foundation environments.

This is a long-term, high-visibility project with opportunities to work on next-generation VMware technologies, including VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.x.
