APPLICATION ARCHITECT L1

Design and develop scalable voice and real-time communication platform components Build and maintain software services for SIP signaling, media control, routing, and session management Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to voice quality, signaling, media flows, and distributed systems Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver end-to-end communication solutions Improve platform scalability, resiliency, observability, and operational efficiency Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and production support activities Contribute to automation, monitoring, and deployment tooling for voice platform services Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes Experience with scalable distributed systems and event-driven architectures Experience working with Kafka, Redis, or similar distributed infrastructure technologies Experience with real-time communication platforms such as FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, Asterisk, or similar technologies

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $173,800 .

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
