Data Center QA/QC Consultant

We are looking to hire a QA/QC Consultant for our client’s data center campus in Fayetteville, GAfor an execution-focused field role. In this role, you will provide Quality Assurance and Control on installs to specs, inspect completed work, logs deficiencies, and produce required documentation.

:

• Rack-by-rack physical inspections in a live data center environment provide Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
• Cat6A/fiber, OTDR/Fluke certification testing
• Provide accurate, timely logging in QC tracker without supervision
• Focused on Network & Connectivity (install to spec, changes, management), IT Infrastructure (intake QC, rack-and-stack, ATP), and QA/QC framework & Continuous Improvement (inspections, NCR, SOPs)
• Assuring that vendors are adhering to SOPs and MOPs
• Completing QC inspection forms (hardware intake, rack and stack, cabling, network install to spec walkdowns)

• Ability to read and work from network diagrams and rack elevation drawings
• CCNA-level networking knowledge sufficient to verify config against a client-provided spec
• Strong documentation skills
• 5+ years of experience within a data center environment
• Strong communication skills to work with Data Center PMs, QC Lead, and Technical Writers

Pay: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
