Job description

  • Lead the integration of NERC CIP security and compliance programs.
  • Develop project implementation plans, schedules, and security system designs.
  • Oversee deployment activities across multiple sites while ensuring project milestones are achieved.
  • Conduct site walkdowns and assess physical security infrastructure.
  • Review management model documentation and maintain auditable project records.
  • Ensure compliance with NERC CIP standards, with a strong emphasis on CIP-6 requirements.
  • Coordinate implementation activities involving physical access control and video surveillance systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to successfully execute security initiatives., * Hiring immediately to support implementation planning.
  • Major planning and build activities begin in Q4, with full implementation launching in Q1.
  • Hybrid schedule with employees selecting their in-office days (2 days/week).
  • Approximately 25% travel (about once per month) to sites in Texas, California, and Maine. Typical site visits last 1 2 days, with approximately three visits per site throughout the project. Business travel expenses are reimbursed.

This role will play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance, driving security infrastructure integration, and delivering successful project outcomes during this large-scale utility integration initiative.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Security compliance frameworks implementation?, * Extensive Project Management experience managing complex, multi-site initiatives.

  • Strong knowledge of NERC CIP, particularly CIP-6 compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Physical Access Control Systems and Video Surveillance/Security Systems.
  • Experience with one or more access control platforms:
  • C”CURE 9000 (preferred)
  • Lenel
  • Client
  • Demonstrated success managing regulatory compliance projects and maintaining audit-ready documentation., * PMP Certification.
  • Utilities or energy industry experience.
  • College degree preferred but extensive relevant experience is valued more highly.
