Job description

As Marketing Web Designer/Developer, you will own avoca.ai end-to-end, design and ship every page, landing experience, and campaign site that defines how Avoca shows up on the internet. Reporting directly to our Director of Brand, you’ll be a hybrid designer-engineer, equally credible in Figma and in code, owning the surface where most of our market meets us for the first time., * A hybrid by choice, not by accident, a designer who codes and an engineer with taste, who has resisted being pushed into one lane.

  • Obsessed with the line between brand and performance. Won’t ship anything ugly; won’t ship anything that doesn’t convert.
  • A craft maximalist on the details that matter, type, motion, spacing, performance and a pragmatist on the rest.
  • Deeply collaborative, with a natural instinct for partnering with the Director of Brand, Art Director, Creative Producer, and Product Marketing.
  • In-office, engaged, and eager to lead from the front at our NYC location full-time.

Requirements

Do you have experience in UI design systems?, * 4-7+ years of progressive experience as a hybrid marketing web designer/developer at B2B SaaS, agency, or in-house brand teams. Portfolio must include shipped marketing sites you designed AND built.

  • Strong React / Next.js fluency. Production experience with Tailwind, Vercel or Netlify, headless CMS (Sanity, Contentful, or Storyblok), and modern asset pipelines.
  • Strong Figma fluency including design system thinking, component variants, auto-layout, and library management. Bonus: Framer or Webflow fluency for rapid prototyping.
  • Hands-on interaction and motion design experience, Framer Motion, GSAP, Lottie, or similar with a portfolio that shows craft beyond CSS transitions.
  • Strong instinct for marketing performance: page speed, Core Web Vitals, A/B testing, basic SEO, accessibility, and conversion design.
  • Comfortable owning end-to-end web sprints from Figma to production deploy without intermediate handoffs, running multiple sites in parallel.
