Job description

We’re looking for a talented Web Developer to join our team. This is a hands-on role building and managing high-performing websites for ambitious B2B clients, from modern Next.js builds deployed on Vercel to headless CMS platforms like WordPress and Sanity. You’ll own your projects end to end: crafting polished front ends that follow UX best practices and brand guidelines, keeping client sites fast, secure and bug-free, and using SEO and analytics to make sure every site you build delivers measurable growth. You’ll work directly with clients, presenting your work and reporting on results alongside our senior team.

What you’ll be doing day-to-day

  • Design, build and maintain client websites in Next.js and React, deployed through Vercel with GitHub-based workflows
  • Build and manage sites on headless and traditional CMS platforms, including WordPress and Sanity
  • Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and Claude Code to accelerate delivery without compromising quality
  • Translate designs and brand guidelines into polished, responsive, accessible front ends that follow UX/UI best practices
  • Perform SEO audits (technical, on-page and off-page) using tools like Ahrefs and Semrush, and implement the findings to drive results for clients
  • Handle the technical side of running websites: DNS, domain management, redirects, hosting and migrations
  • Provide ongoing management of client websites: monitoring uptime and performance, and diagnosing and fixing bugs and issues as they arise
  • Track and report on web analytics, using data to grow traffic, conversions and other web KPIs
  • Attend weekly client meetings to present your work, report progress and discuss priorities directly with clients

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in a web development role, ideally in an agency or B2B environment
  • Strong hands-on experience with Next.js and React, plus Git workflows via GitHub and deployments on Vercel
  • Experience building with headless CMS platforms such as WordPress or Sanity
  • Experience using AI development tools (Claude, Claude Code) as part of a professional workflow
  • A solid command of the core web languages: HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • A strong eye for front-end design, with the discipline to work within brand guidelines and apply UX/UI best practices
  • A good understanding of technical web fundamentals: DNS, redirects, performance and security
  • A good understanding of SEO and how to leverage it in your work to generate the best results for clients
  • Confidence working with clients directly: comfortable presenting and discussing your work in weekly meetings
  • An analytical mindset: you track the data behind every site you manage and use it to keep web KPIs moving in the right direction

It would be great if you had

  • Experience with Tailwind CSS and animation libraries such as Framer Motion
  • Experience setting up and managing Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager
  • Experience with CRO and A/B testing to improve conversion rates
  • Familiarity with Core Web Vitals optimization and Lighthouse auditing
  • Design skills using Figma or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience working with B2B or life science clients, * Web development: 3 years (preferred)
