Job description

JOB Hennepin County’s Office of Budget and Finance department is seeking to hire a PeopleSoft ERP Finance Manager. This critical leadership position requires expertise in finance, accounting, and ERP system knowledge at an enterprise level. The role is responsible for maturing the ERP eco system footprint by focusing on futuristic business needs and ERP system capabilities., * Identify ways to use PeopleSoft to streamline finance and banking processes.

  • Stay up to date with new features and functionalities delivered by PeopleSoft ERP system.
  • Develop, plan, and execute a futuristic rolling roadmap for PeopleSoft FSCM that solves business problems with automation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Oracle and collaborate with other public and private sector organizations to understand industry standards and best practices.
  • Own the budget and make financial decisions for the APEX division.
  • Partner with other finance entities in the county to ensure policy compliance and operational accuracy.
  • Lead and prioritize work direction for a team of ERP functional analysts that support finance functions in PeopleSoft.

Requirements

  • Ten years or more of accounting and financial management experience including two years of supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, business administration, or a closely related field and six years or more of accounting and financial management experience including two years of supervisory experience.

Nice to have:

  • Four or more years of experience:
  • In a manager leadership role.
  • Using PeopleSoft ERP Finance (FSCM).
  • In an accounting or related finance field.

625 4th Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55415, Hybrid work $116,699.98 - $175,049.97 a year - Full-time, This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site at the 625 Building located at 625 4th Ave South, Minneapolis, MN 55415, and remote as job duties require. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. and occasional after hours may be required during IT rollouts. While this position is designated as hybrid, based on current requirements hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin. About the position type: This is a full-time benefit earning positions. You must be a current regular or probationary employee of the Office of Budget & Finance department. Limited duration employees not eligible., Final candidates may be required to complete a criminal background check.
