Job description
Our client is entering the implementation phase of a strategic enterprise portal initiative supporting a large airport modernization program. The program includes major capital projects such as new terminal construction, tarmac expansion, governance workflows, committee management, executive dashboards, and enterprise reporting.
The solution architecture, planning, and design phases have been completed. The client is seeking a Power Apps Developer to build the portal’s user-facing applications and deliver intuitive, role-based experiences for a diverse set of business users. This individual will work closely with solution architects, developers, and business stakeholders to implement responsive applications that connect to Dataverse, workflows, reporting, and enterprise systems., * Design, develop, and configure user-facing applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
- Build responsive Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps that support multiple user personas and business processes.
- Develop role-based interfaces, including:
- Executive and operational dashboards
- Project and program management views
- Governance and committee management workflows
- Gate submission and approval forms
- Decision tracking and record management screens
- Action queues and task management interfaces
- Implement user experiences based on approved solution architecture and business requirements.
- Configure and connect applications to Microsoft Dataverse for data storage and management.
- Develop business logic and application functionality using Power Fx.
- Integrate applications with Power Automate workflows, reporting solutions, and enterprise systems.
- Ensure applications adhere to security requirements, role-based access controls (RBAC), and governance standards.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout development, testing, and deployment.
- Support application testing, defect resolution, deployment activities, and post-production enhancements.
- Participate in hyper care support following production rollout as needed.
Requirements
Do you have experience in User-facing feature development?, * 4-6+ years of hands-on experience developing applications with Microsoft Power Apps.
- Strong experience building both:
- Power Apps Canvas Apps
- Power Apps Model-Driven Apps
- Solid expertise with Microsoft Dataverse, including data modeling, relationships, forms, and views.
- Strong proficiency with Power Fx and Power Platform development best practices.
- Experience building complex, multi-role business applications with role-based access controls (RBAC).
- Strong understanding of responsive UI design principles and user experience best practices.
- Experience integrating Power Apps with:
- Power Automate
- Microsoft Dataverse
- APIs and external systems
- Reporting and dashboard solutions
- Ability to translate business requirements and approved solution designs into production-ready applications.
- Experience participating in testing, deployment, and application support activities.
Preferred Skills:
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (preferred).
- Experience working within enterprise Power Platform environments and governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with Azure services, Logic Apps, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, capital improvement, transportation, aviation, or public sector initiatives.
- Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies and cross-functional development teams.
