Job description

The Senior Engineer, Enterprise Application Development is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable solutions within 11:11 Systems’ ServiceNow environment. This role combines hands-on ServiceNow development with solution architecture responsibilities across custom applications, integrations, workflow automation, Service Bridge / Service Exchange, and business-critical capabilities across CSM, FSM, ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, and PPM/SPM.

Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Applications, this role partners directly with business units, platform owners, and technical teams to understand operational needs, evaluate current processes, and recommend ServiceNow-aligned solutions. The ideal candidate can translate business requirements into secure, maintainable technical designs while guiding stakeholders toward ServiceNow best practices and scalable platform architecture., * Serve as a ServiceNow solution architect for assigned initiatives, helping business units define requirements, evaluate process gaps, and identify scalable platform solutions.

  • Lead discovery and design discussions with business stakeholders to understand current-state processes, pain points, desired outcomes, and operational dependencies.
  • Recommend ServiceNow best-practice solutions that balance business needs, platform standards, maintainability, security, and long-term scalability.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs, including data models, process flows, integrations, automation, roles, access controls, and implementation plans.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to determine whether requirements should be met through configuration, custom application development, workflow automation, integration, or process redesign.
  • Build and maintain ServiceNow configurations, workflows, forms, scripts, business rules, UI actions, Flow Designer automation, and related platform logic.
  • Develop and support custom ServiceNow applications, including scoped apps, custom tables, roles, access controls, workflows, approvals, and reporting.
  • Support ServiceNow CSM, FSM, ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, ITAM, and PPM/SPM capabilities based on business and operational needs.
  • Configure, enhance, and troubleshoot Service Bridge / Service Exchange capabilities, including remote task definitions, process events, work notes, comments, and provider-consumer integrations.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, scripted APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, platform owners, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into secure, maintainable technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues related to scripting, integrations, permissions, workflows, data synchronization, performance, and workspace behavior.
  • Support ServiceNow releases, update sets, testing, deployments, plugin evaluations, application repairs, and platform upgrades.
  • Contribute to coding standards, documentation, code reviews, reusable development patterns, and continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Mentor junior developers and collaborate with Agile teams to deliver platform enhancements and backlog priorities.
  • Collaborate supportively with colleagues while operating in a manner consistent with 11:11’s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values.
  • Responsibly receive, transmit, and manage company data in accordance with company policies, work procedures, data handling requirements, and privacy practices.
  • Complete required compliance training, policy acknowledgements, and other duties as assigned

Requirements

Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on ServiceNow application development experience.
  • Ability to operate as both a hands-on ServiceNow developer and solution architect.
  • Experience leading business discovery sessions, documenting requirements, and recommending ServiceNow-based solutions aligned to platform best practices.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow process design, platform architecture, configuration standards, and when to use out-of-the-box functionality versus custom development.
  • Ability to communicate technical recommendations clearly to business stakeholders, leadership, developers, and support teams.
  • Strong experience with ServiceNow scripting, configuration, automation, integrations, and custom application development.
  • Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, ACLs, forms, tables, notifications, and Workspace configuration.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Service Bridge / Service Exchange, including remote task definitions, process events, work notes, comments, and synchronization troubleshooting.
  • Experience building custom ServiceNow applications using scoped apps, custom tables, roles, access controls, flows, and application lifecycle practices.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, OAuth, scripted APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience with ServiceNow CSM, FSM, ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, ITAM, PPM, or SPM preferred.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, SQL, and modern web technologies.
  • Certified ServiceNow Administrator preferred; additional ServiceNow certifications are a plus.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the assigned country without visa sponsorship.

These ranges are informed by market data, internal equity, and qualifications required by job level. Actual pay is based on multiple factors, including skills, experience, certifications, and location.
