Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior IT Interface Analyst, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Lead the configuration effort of new interfaces and enhancements to existing interfaces for Epic applications and their corresponding ancillary systems.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and conduct analyses for efficient program/application solutions supporting client business processes, functional and technical requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain a complex interface environment for efficient program/application operations.
  • Consult on integration solutions and architecture while coordinating solutions and planning with other IT teams.
  • Collaborate with various teams to identify and resolve workflow impacts and manage workflow/dataflow sessions.
  • Perform occasional training of end users for Bridges end user tools.
  • Manage medium-to-complex Epic and integration issues and critical support/enhancements issues.
  • Work closely with various departments and groups to resolve interface production support issues.
  • Supervise the activities of 1-2 other Interface Analysts, providing leadership, mentoring, and coaching.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of applicable work experience, with 5 years in a Healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare industry standard messaging formats (e.g., HL7, XML, ANSI x12).
  • Current or attainable certification on Epic Bridges and Cloverleaf interface engine within 6 months of hire.
  • Experience with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience on at least two major system implementations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of medical terminology and customer service values.
