Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time IT Support Specialist and become a vital part of maintaining seamless technology operations across our organization. - Troubleshoot software issues related to Microsoft Office, enterprise applications, and custom programs.
- Manage computer hardware setups, upgrades, and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with network administration tasks such as configuring LAN, VPN connections, firewalls, DNS settings, and TCP/IP protocols.
- Support mobile devices and peripherals to enhance user productivity.
- Maintain and update IT support tickets using tools like ServiceNow or Jira while documenting issues clearly for resolution tracking.
- Collaborate with team members on projects involving Active Directory, GPO (Group Policy Objects), SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), and Windows Server environments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network devices such as Meraki routers and switches to ensure stable connectivity.
- Assist in maintaining security protocols by supporting firewall configurations and network security measures.
- Provide help desk support via remote tools like BMC Remedy or ServiceNow to resolve user issues efficiently.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Mobile devices?, * Proven experience in technical support or desktop support roles with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for software issues across multiple operating systems including Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts such as LAN, WAN, VPNs, DNS, TCP/IP protocols, and network administration tools.
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and management of enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity tools.
- Ability to configure and support Active Directory environments and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
- Hands-on experience with SCCM or similar systems for software deployment and updates.
- Understanding of security practices involving firewalls, DNS management, TCP protocols, and VPNs like Meraki solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively assist users at all levels of technical proficiency.
