IT Technician and Handyman

The objective of this project is to modernize the IT and security infrastructure at the acquired former Mitsubishi Chemical electrolyte manufacturing facility. Work includes expanding the existing IT room, upgrading cabling, installing a security surveillance system, and commissioning new network hardware.

1. Scope of ServicesA. IT Room Renovation & Expansion

• Expansion: Enlarge the existing IT room to approximately 12-18 square meters.

Do you have experience in Structured cabling installation?

• Hardware: Refresh existing cabinets and install specified Cisco network equipment (including Catalyst 9500 series switches, 9200L series switches, 9800-L wireless controllers, and 9105AX series Access Points).

• Commissioning: Perform cabling testing, configuration, AP installation, and cable management (labeling and neatening).

• Note: Patch cables are excluded from procurement as they have been provided by the client.

C. Security Surveillance System

• Surveillance: Install an estimated 15 cameras throughout the facility.

• Specifications: Deploy cameras based on the site survey layout (utilizing Hanwha PNM-8082VT multi-lens 270-degree units as referenced).

• Scope: Includes cabling, mounting, and system debugging.

D. Office Equipment Procurement

• Procure standard office equipment, including printers, telephones, and mobile devices.

• Requirement: Provide unit price quotes for approval prior to purchase.

1. Critical Requirements & Considerations

• Regulatory Compliance: The contractor must assess whether the site is classified as a C1D1 (Class I, Division 1) zone and ensure all materials and installation methods meet specific safety requirements for such an environment.

• Project Governance: All major project decisions are made by the decision-maker stationed in China.

• Timeline: Works are to be implemented shortly.

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
