Job description

Design, develop, and maintain AI-enabled applications using Python and FastAPI.
Deploy and support applications on Microsoft Azure.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and cloud services.
Collaborate with the Connecticut AI Lab on AI solution development.
Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and code reviews.
Ensure secure handling of confidential financial and regulatory data.

Requirements

5+ Years Python Development
FastAPI (or similar Python framework)
Microsoft Azure (App Service, Storage, Key Vault)
REST API Development
Git/GitHub & Pull Request Workflow
AI/LLM Application Development
AI-Assisted Software Development (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
Secure Coding & Production Support

Preferred Skills

Azure OpenAI / OpenAI APIs
LangChain or Semantic Kernel
Prompt Engineering
AI Model Evaluation & A/B Testing
CI/CD and Azure DevOps, * Strong Python and FastAPI experience is required.
Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience is mandatory.
Candidates should have experience building AI/LLM-enabled applications and using AI-assisted development tools in production environments.
