Job description

We are seeking an experienced Data QA (ETL Tester) to validate enterprise data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ETL testing, SQL, data validation, and automation within AWS/cloud-based data environments., * Validate ETL workflows and data transformations.

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Perform source-to-target data validation.
  • Verify data integrity, completeness, and accuracy.
  • Identify, document, and track defects.
  • Work closely with Data Engineers, Developers, and Business Analysts.
  • Support SIT, UAT, and Production validation activities.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Data Warehouse and ETL Testing.
  • Strong experience with ETL testing and data validation.
  • Expert-level SQL skills for complex queries and data reconciliation.
  • Experience testing ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, AWS Glue, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with Data Warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Facts & Dimensions).
  • Experience validating data migration and transformation logic.
  • Knowledge of AWS data services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, and Lambda.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux commands.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with defect management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Exposure to automation frameworks using Python or Selenium is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
