Job description

Are you an experienced Accounts Receivable professional with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering exceptional customer outcomes? We’re looking for a proactive and analytical individual to join our team in a role where you can truly make an impact.

In this role, you’ll act as a subject matter expert, supporting operational escalations and helping to upskill colleagues to drive performance and knowledge across the team. You’ll play a key part in processing invoices, cash allocation, embedding best practice, and supporting the drive to standardisation within a complex, high-volume environment.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business, fostering strong relationships and promoting a customer-centric culture, while also contributing to key improvement initiatives across the wider shared service centre., * Working pattern: hybrid working - this role permits hybrid working, employees are expected to work from a Network Rail location for 60% of their weekly hours, typically 3 days for full time roles.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable, particularly billing and cash allocation
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience working in a complex or shared service environment
  • Confident using Excel and Microsoft tools
  • Oracle eBusiness Suite and/or Horizon experience
  • Professional qualifications (full or part)
